Nate Lewis Commits to play baseball at Calvin College

Forest Hills Eastern Baseball is pleased to announce that Senior Nate Lewis has officially committed to play baseball at the NCAA Division III level for Calvin College. Nate was recruited as an infielder. Calvin College, Coached by second year Head Coach John Rypel, is a nearby college located in Grand Rapids. The Knights compete in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Conference (MIAA). Calvin College has a rich tradition in baseball history and continues to compete yearly for MIAA Conference titles. In 2015 the Knights fell just short of the conference title by losing in the championship game to Adrian.

Nate Lewis a smooth fielding infielder has many talents on the baseball field with his ability to excel at multiple positions. Nate has played all of the infield positions, all of the outfield positions, pitcher, and catcher for the Eastern Hawks and he has played them well. Last year Nate batted .333 and was 3-0 on the mound with 1 save. Nate continues to work extremely hard and is excited to be a major contributor for the Hawks again this year. Nate is the son of Stacie and Byron Lewis of Comstock Park.
