Kyle Andreen signs with Jackson Community College

Forest Hills Eastern Baseball is pleased to announce that Senior Kyle Andreen has officially committed to play baseball at the NJCAA level for Jackson College. Kyle was recruited as a two-way player, pitcher and as an infielder. Jackson College, Coached by Rick Smith is a College known for sending pitchers on to the next level. The Jets compete in the MCCAA, Michigan Community College Athletic Association. Jackson College Baseball and Coach Smith continue to grow their program and players. Coach Smith, during his coaching tenure, has produced 135 players that have moved on to four year universities, 21 players to D1, 8 professionals, and 7 All Americans. Jackson College has qualified for the Region 12 Tournament 8 years in a row and were also MCCAA Champions in 2009.

Andreen is excited about his decision to play baseball and continue his education at Jackson College for the Jets as he continues to keep his goals of playing at the highest possible level of amateur baseball intact. Kyle is currently working hard as he prepares for his 3rd varsity baseball season for the Eastern Hawks.

Kyle is the son of Jeff and Leasa Andreen of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
