Forest Hills Eastern High School Baseball Player, David McCready Verbally Commits To Play Baseball at Grand Rapids Community College
Eastern High School is pleased to announce that 2019 senior David McCready has committed to play baseball and continue his education at Grand Rapids Community College. David was recruited as a pitcher by the Raiders. Grand Rapids Community College is regarded as one of the Top Division II Baseball Junior Colleges in the country. They have won an amazing 5 NATIONAL TITLES including three in a row from 2003-2005.
McCready, the hard throwing right handed pitcher had an outstanding senior season for the Hawks. David lead the team in innings pitched and strikeouts, had a 1.845 ERA, and a WHIP of 1.074. As outstanding as David was at pitching, he was also outstanding at batting. David was the leader in RBI’s, 2nd in doubles, and 3rd in the total number of base hits for Eastern Baseball.
David is the son of Doug and Lynda McCready of Grand Rapids
