Brendan Miller Signs with Cornerstone

Forest Hills Eastern High School Baseball Player Brendan Miller Play Baseball at Cornerstone University

Forest Hills Eastern Baseball is pleased to announce that 2018 Captain Brendan Miller has signed his letter of intent to continue his education and play baseball for Cornerstone University. Brendan was recruited as a pitcher. Cornerstone University, Coached by Chuck Lowitcki is a college known for having arguably the nicest baseball facility in the midwest for their division. The Golden Eagles are in the NAIA Division and compete in the WHAC Conference, Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Cornerstone University’s Baseball Program continues to grow and improve since their
restart in 2013. Since 2013 the Golden Eagles have won 125 games and continue to improve each season.

Brendan is excited about his decision to play baseball and continue his education at Cornerstone University. Brendan is an extremely hard worker that motivates everyone around him with his strive for excellence. His positive energy has been contagious which has contributed to his excellent leadership skills. Brendan the hard throwing captain and grit playing 3rd baseman, had an outstanding high school career for the Hawks. Brendan was 1st Team All Conference and lead the Hawks in many pitching and batting categories. Brendan lead the pitchers this year in wins, innings pitched,
strikeouts, and WHIP. He carried a low ERA, 1.962 while pitching in every big game. As a pitcher, Brendan is in the record books for ERA and saves. Brendan also had a lot of success as an everyday 3rd baseman. Brendan batted .350 on the season with a .450 on base percentage.

Brendan is the son of Todd and Linda Miller.
